Rohde & Schwarz Leverages AWR'S Microwave Office Software for the Design and Optimization of Key Broadband Amplifier Components

The Story:

Rohde & Schwarz, a leading supplier of solutions for test and measurement equipment, successfully designed its novel, completely modular R&S®BBA100 RF broadband amplifier series with the help of AWR Corporation's Microwave Office® software. While developing this innovative, new product line, the development team had to solve numerous, challenging RF issues. AWR's Microwave Office software was used to develop major components within the R&S®BBA100, including two broadband couplers that play a key role in the final design performance.
