AWR and Rohde & Schwarz Japan Enter into Sales Partnership
Agreement strengthens Rohde & Schwarz solutions for customized hardware/software development
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. and TOKYO, Japan -- November 25, 2008 - AWR®, the innovation leader in high-frequency design software, and Rohde & Schwarz Japan K.K., the Japanese subsidiary of Rohde & Schwarz, one of the world's leading test and measurement manufacturers, today announced a partnership in Japan to deliver customized hardware/software solutions. AWR software and Rohde & Schwarz test equipment will be combined to produce solutions, ranging from component characterization through sub-system and system verification.
Under the terms of this partnership, which takes effect December 1, 2008, the companies will provide customized platforms that combine Rohde & Schwarz test and measurement equipment with AWR's high-frequency design software to produce unique simulation and measurement solutions. Rohde & Schwarz Japan will offer AWR products bundled with its test and measurement equipment through its extensive sales and support organization in the country. AWR Japan will continue to be the primary direct sales channel in Japan for AWR's microwave and RF design software solutions and will provide all post-sales customer support.
