TED MIRACCO – Executive Vice President, Sales and MarketingTed Miracco combines engineering expertise with extensive sales and marketing experience at several leading EDA companies. He joined AWR in 1997, and has been a key force driving the company's success in sales and marketing. Ted is currently focused on AWR's corporate strategy, including worldwide sales, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate marketing.
Prior to joining AWR, Ted was a senior account executive at Cadence Design Systems, Inc., where he was responsible for developing solutions to assist customers in accelerating the design of semiconductor, computer, and telecommunications systems. While at Cadence, Ted helped to develop, manage, and implement a broad corporate transition from a technology-centric company focused on product development to a services-centric organization focused on design consulting and business-oriented solutions.
Before Cadence, Ted was responsible for business development and world-wide corporate accounts at EEsof, Inc. While At EEsof, Ted planned, developed, and implemented the company's strategic diversification from defense electronics into the commercial communications market. During his tenure at EEsof, the company grew from a small niche EDA company to the worldwide leader in high-frequency analog EDA.
Ted holds a B.A. degree from Carnegie Mellon University with double majors in electrical and computer engineering. He also minored in and taught economics.
