Ron Patston

Ron Patston joined AWR as the Vice President of Sales in December of 2000. Prior to joining AWR, Mr. Patston was Solution Services Manager for the Agilent EEsof EDA product line at Agilent Technologies and was responsible for providing custom solutions to customers using the Advanced Design System tool suite. Prior to Agilent, Mr. Patston was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Verticom Inc., a manufacturer of telecommunications subsystems in which he built both the domestic and international sales channel as well as handled all of the marketing activities for the company. Before joining Verticom, Mr. Patston was the Marketing Manager for the HP EEsof Division of Hewlett Packard responsible for all of the marketing activities as well as indirect responsibility for the sales channel.

Prior to EEsof being acquired by Hewlett Packard in 1993, Mr. Patston held numerous positions at EEsof including:  Director of Marketing, Director of Far East Operations, Director of European Operations and Manager of Applications Engineering. Mr. Patston was instrumental in the fast paced growth of EEsof Inc.

Mr. Patston also spent 8 years at Raytheon and Avantek in design and applications engineering of Microwave components and subsystems, and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.
