Heikki Rekonen

Based in Finland, Heikki has many years of experience both in research and development and sales and marketing.

After graduating in 1991 with an MSEE from Helsinki University of Technology, he worked as a project manager at the Nokia Research Center Electronics Laboratory, where he was responsible for Nokia’s APLAC internal sales and support operation.

In 1994 he became manager for RF design tools, which included overseeing APLAC technology development, and developing the initial business plan for the APLAC venture. From 1998 to 2001 Heikki was managing director of APLAC Solutions Oy, spun off from the Nokia Corporation to commercialize the APLAC RF and analog simulation technology developed by Nokia in conjunction with the Helsinki University of Technology.

In 2000 Heikki was named CEO of APLAC Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of APLAC Solutions Oy located in Dallas, Texas that functioned as the customer service operations and sales channel development for the North American market.

In 2003 he became strategic business development and Nokia account manager for APLAC Solutions Oy. In 2005 APLAC Solutions Oy was acquired by AWR and Heikki continues as director of the APLAC operation.
