Technical Support Specialist
AWR is looking for a top-level RF or microwave design engineer with experience using AWR's Microwave Office design suite or other high-frequency electronic design automation (EDA) tools. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and training on the use of AWR EDA solutions.
You will support technical evaluations/benchmarks and assist in the implementation of AWR software in the customer's design methodology. You will work closely with research and development to identify and prioritize product improvements. You will work with customers to understand their needs, and will communicate customer requirements and feedback from sales engagements to the development and marketing teams in order to facilitate product improvements and direction. Position may include some travel.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Microwave Office software, SPICE and other high-frequency design tools
- Focused expertise in the area of electromagnetic (EM) simulation, circuit simulation, or system simulation is especially desirable
- Two to five years' hardware design experience or technical support experience is preferred.
