CAREERS
Senior PDK Engineer
AWR is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual who has experience in developing and qualifying process design kits (PDKs) using commercially available electronic design automation (EDA) tools for various foundry technologies in both silicon and GaAs processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with the development team as well as the foundry to perform complete characterization and qualification of PDKs prior to production release. You will also monitor, report, and update these PDKs post production and/or whenever changes are required. Occasionally you will assist in the development of parameterized cells (Pcells) using AWR PDK design tools and language. Your success will be measured by the completeness, robustness, and consistency of these PDKs with foundry-released kits.
Requirements:
- Must be proficient with Cadence's Analog Artist design environment and tools
- Experience with Mentor's IC workstation, Calibre, and Hspice is a plus
- Five-plus years' experience in PDK development, qualification, and support is required for this position
- BSEE or equivalent MSEE preferred
